Seagrave Wolds Challenge

Saturday 11th November 2023

The Seagrave Wolds Challenge welcomes all walkers & runners. It is a 16-mile cross-country route through the beautiful Leicestershire Wolds, using footpaths & sections of private land. The event is more a personal challenge against the terrain, weather conditions & distance, rather than a competitive race. The route changes every year and last year’s route is shown below (click to enlarge).

The event and route are planned, manned and marshalled by the people of Seagrave village. It is a major community event. Water and food stops are provided along the route and there are toilets in certain locations. Dogs are welcome and catered for. At the finish, soup, a roll, and apple crumble with custard are provided to each runner and walker. Medical personnel will be on hand and lift back to the village hall for those in real need can be arranged.

2023 will be our 19th consecutive Challenge and we will be keeping the entry fee at the same as last year (£25 for adults and £13 for under 18s and over 65s.

The event regularly sells out, so to avoid disappointment, register early!
