Route

Ladies and gentlemen.

The 2011 Seagrave Wolds Challenge will follow, primarily, the classic route across public footpaths, bridle ways and private land. We are pleased to be able to add some new variations for this year and we hope that you will enjoy.

The whole route will be well signed and marshalled, but those of you who wish to bring along Ordnance Survey map 129 will be able to copy the route from the master map on the day. Please remember that we do have special permission to use private land and that these sections of the route must not be attempted, other than when taking part in SWC 2011.

Signing on and the start/finish are at Seagrave Memorial Hall, Green Lane, Seagrave, Leicestershire, LE12 7LU.

There is a specially designated car park for all visitors. Please follow marshalls instructions and PLEASE, do not park on the village roads. These are narrow and we do have a small bus service. Last year the bus service was 'inconvenienced' by two selfish drivers who, though prepared to walk or run for over 15 miles, were not prepared to walk an extra 100 yards to the car park.

Please arrive in plenty of time to sign on and collect your wrist band by 08:30.

The route is well signed and marshalled throughout.

There will be a 'Challengers Briefing' at approximately 08:45.
